Speaking to AL24, energy expert and CEO of Ranadrill Consulting Mr. Choeib Boutamine says that Arab countries economy is strong and remarkably growing as the Arab GDP has reached 2.8 trillion Dollars, exceeding Russia and Brazil.
He stresses that Arab countries can play a major role on the international scene, amid the current food and energy crisis due the Russia-Ukraine war.
Meanwhile, Mr. Choeib Boutamine highlights that Europe is facing a serious energy crisis due to Russian cuts, especially that Nord stream1 is not delivering natural gas to EU countries.
The EU wants to find alternatives to fossil energies but renewables are not attainable currently, in addition to being subjected to weather conditions. Thus, Europe needs to find other energy suppliers.
Regarding the China-Taiwan conflict, the CEO of Ranadrill Consulting says that the key issue between the two sides is Technology, as 70 percent of the semiconductors used in the world were produced by Taiwan. China and Russia want to hold the reins of Taiwan’s technology.
