Saudi Arabia announced that Al Jafurah’s reserves have been re adjusted to reach 6.48 tcm of natural gas ( Nigeria total reserves are 5.9 tcm) .
– Natural gas is an energy of transition but not an energy only to generate electicity or a substance of heating an even a fuel for engines , its a milestone element in the petrochemistry , its creating the wealth in agriculture ( AMMONIAC and UREA).
– South Pars Gas field ( between Iran and Qatar) considered as the biggest natural gas reserve in the world, By the way Iran owns 32 tcm of reserves, Qatar has 24 tcm , both countries hold 27% of the global natural gas reserves.
– Is the middle east region shifting and gradually from Oil Production to Natural gas .
– Algeria is hosting the GECF from 29 feb- 02 march 2024 , What will be the outlook of natural gas by 2030-2040 . Algeria is the largest natural gas producer and exporter in africa , it also overtook Nigeria leading the continent’s lng exports.
