Energy transition amid the dominance of fossils

It is undeniable that many countries are investing in renewables, however, fossils still dominate the global energy needs with more than 80 % due to a lack of efficient and abundant alternatives.
De-carbonization must be gradual. Halting investment in fossil fuels before remarkably advancing in the energy transition will not be in favor of the latter as it will lead to increasing prices and undermining the transition process.
Both energy experts agreed that technology transfer can be a game changer in the energy transition process, highlighting that climate change is a global issue and no country will be spared its consequences.
