Drilling Rig count VS U.S. Production

Based on the data released by Baker hughes , the number of drilling rigs in the U.S .fell down by 05 in the last week .A slump in rig count doesn’t mean the U.S. is producing less or its impacting the oil and gas outputs , the U.S. succeeded to develop both the drilling and extraction methods by extending the horizontal section which allowed to reduce the rig numbers in a specific area ( shale oil and gas) , the Long drain section enhanced and eased the methods to multiply the fracking stages per well which is saving time-money -More recovered volumes-rig numbers- high efficiency of the recovered fluids.*March 2023 Rig count was 755 ||| Oil production was 12.77mbd. *Today’s update of Rig Count is 624 (-131) ||| Oil production 13.1 mbd.
