Based on the data released by Baker hughes , the number of drilling rigs in the U.S .fell down by 05 in the last week .
A slump in rig count doesn’t mean the U.S. is producing less or its impacting the oil and gas outputs , the U.S. succeeded to develop both the drilling and extraction methods by extending the horizontal section which allowed to reduce the rig numbers in a specific area ( shale oil and gas) , the Long drain section enhanced and eased the methods to multiply the fracking stages per well which is saving time-money -More recovered volumes-rig numbers- high efficiency of the recovered fluids.*March 2023 Rig count was 755 ||| Oil production was 12.77mbd.
*Today’s update of Rig Count is 624 (-131) ||| Oil production 13.1 mbd.
NB: Rig count in 2014 in the U.S. was 1803 almost 03 folds the actual number , that time the u.s.a
was producing only 8.3 mbd.
