Challenges of the storage and transportation of Green Hydrogen

Green hydrogen contributes to reducing carbon emissions, but its production remains costly in comparison with the production of other clean energies.
There’s a great ambition with regard to transporting and storing hydrogen particularly by the European Union, which plans to produce 10 million tons of Green Hydrogen and import the same quantity by 2030.
However, there’s a pronounced lack of the required infrastructure and investment from both importers and exporters.
Hydrogen is gradually integrating in the future energy mix, but is far from replacing fossil fuels, especially in developing countries given the absence of financial means to invest in low carbon emissions.
